secluded campsite

American Heritage Campground is nestled in 25 acres of pristine evergeen forest.
Our campground is said by many to be "one of the nicest parks they've camped in". Campsites are spacious and secluded. Some are in an open grassy area. Hookups for RV's include Electric (30 amp), Water, & Sewer, or just Electric(30 amp) and Water. All of our RV sites are back in sites. Our primitive tent camping sites are in a separate loop with water and portables nearby. All campsites come with a picnic table and campfire area. There is one cozy camping cabin that sleeps 4. Wi Fi is available near the office. The Campground water source is really good well water! Come enjoy the fresh smell of the forest ~ some nights you can hear the owls and coyotes!

nightly wagon rideMany of our customers have been camping here for generations. Parents who camped here as children are now bringing their kids to continue the camping tradition. Grandparents love to bring their grandkids camping here. It's a beautiful place for kids of all ages to enjoy, and if the kids are happy, everyone is happy!

Summertime at the park includes daily activities that are fun for families.
